What is Damines Axe?

Damines Axe is a hidden legendary weapon in Project Lunky. The name is a reference to Damien— a character from Markiplier's "Who Killed Markiplier?" series who later becomes part of Darkiplier. The axe has a dark, glitchy visual effect reminiscent of Darkiplier's signature aesthetic.

Unlike the default melee weapon, Damines Axe has a wider swing arc, higher base damage, and a unique charged attack that sends a shockwave across the room.

How to Find Damines Axe

The axe doesn't spawn in every run. Here are the confirmed conditions:

1. Reach Level 3+ — The axe cannot appear in the first two lab levels
2. Find the hidden room — Look for a wall with a faint Darkiplier glitch effect. Walk into it to reveal a secret passage
3. Solve the pedestal puzzle — The axe sits on a stone pedestal. You need to have collected at least 3 coins before interacting with it
4. Defeat the guardian — A mini-boss spawns when you grab the axe. Defeat it to keep the weapon

Why Markiplier Called It "Broken"

In his gameplay video, Markiplier found the axe near the end and immediately noticed the damage difference. His exact reaction was calling it "broken" — meaning overpowered. With Damage Up III from the Warfstache Shop stacked on top, the axe can one-shot most regular enemies.

The life steal at max upgrade makes you nearly unkillable in rooms with many weak enemies, since each swing heals you. It's the ultimate reward for thorough exploration.
